SSAR Frequently Asked Questions

+ Where do I create my SSAR?

The SSAR is created at the Student Self-Reported Academic Record site. Upon submission of the SSAR, you must return to your application for admission and link your SSAR. Please check on the admissions website of the respective school for linking instructions. You can also review the FAQs below or email customer support if you have questions about linking to participating colleges and universities.

+ Can my SSAR be used by multiple colleges/universities?

Yes. The SSAR is currently used by Florida State University, University of Florida, Florida Polytechnic University, Florida Atlantic University, University of North Florida, New College of Florida, Florida Gulf Coast University, and Flagler College.

+ Where do I find my SSAR ID (SSAR Code)?

Upon successful submission of your SSAR, your SSAR ID will be displayed on screen. To see this ID, log into the SSAR and click on the 'Record Complete' link. Your SSAR ID will be displayed as a 32-character string comprised of letters and numbers. When using this ID to link to your online application for admission, please copy and paste the ID to ensure accuracy

No. The SSAR and SRAR are independent systems. Applicants applying to the following schools in Florida will complete the Self-reported Student Academic Record (SSAR): Florida State University, University of Florida, Florida Polytechnic University, Florida Atlantic University, University of North Florida, New College of Florida, Florida Gulf Coast University, and Flagler College.

Link your SSAR by copying the 32-character code from your SSAR account. Go to admissions.fsu.edu and click on Application Status. Login to “Application Status Check” with your FSU ID and password. Click “View Details” next to your application. Scroll down to the box that is titled “Self-Reported Student Academic Record Submission Information”. Paste your SSAR 32-character code into the text box and click “Submit”. Once FSU receives your SSAR, you will see a message on the online status check to confirm.

To link your SSAR to your UF application, click the Check Application Status button. You must submit your application for admission before you will be able to check your status and link your SSAR to the application. From the status page, you will click on the SSAR link to link your SSAR to your application.

At this point, there are two options to complete the process:

  1. Go to appstatus.fau.edu and click on the SSAR option. Create/Log in with your SSAR account and submit your SSAR to link it to your FAU application.
  2. Another option is to login using your SSAR account and FAU application confirmation number at https://ssar.selfreportedtranscript.com/Login.aspx. After you complete SSAR, go to the FAU SSAR linking page with your SSAR credentials and FAU application confirmation number and select CONTINUE and then submit your SSAR to FAU
  3. Students should refer to the email confirmation from application submission to find the FAU Confirmation Number – this is what is needed to link with the SSAR.

The SSAR link will appear in your Eagle Account on your application's list of supplemental items. For Florida Gulf Coast University, you will need to click on the SSAR link on your application for admission, enter your SSAR account credentials, and then link your SSAR to FGCU. Please note the SSAR link will only appear in your Eagle Account if you meet the following conditions: 1) your currently enrolled in a U.S. high school 2) your citizenship status is U.S. Citizen or Resident Alien 3) you applied as a freshman.

Upon receipt of your Common Application, New College of Florida will send you a customized link and PIN to access your NCF Application Status page. On that page, there will be a link to the Self-reported Student Academic Record (SSAR) website. This will allow you to create a new SSAR (or link your existing SSAR) with your 8-digit Common App ID.

Flagler College does not accept SSAR codes. A link to the SSAR site will be emailed to you after you complete your Flagler College application. Applicants can only link their SSAR by clicking on a URL link provided in an email sent by the Office of Admissions, no later than one week after submitting the application. Keep an eye on your inbox!

You will be asked to enter the SSAR code on the application. Please log into your Florida Polytechnic University application and add your SSAR code.

You will be asked to provide the SSAR ID Number on your application for admission. You may also provide the SSAR ID through your myWIngs account under My Records - Application Status page.
